Projects with Schools

I frequently work with schools and youth groups to create large, often interactive, artworks. Below are some examples of the most recent of these artworks. If you are interested in having me visit your school or group, please email me at artwrkx@gmail.com.

Giant Ugoki-Gami

This sculpture is made primarily of reinforced cardboard, and was created by the Olivet Boys & Girls Club. It can be shifted into different positions and geometric designs by a team of two or more individuals.

1,000 Paper Peace Cranes

In 2015, I did a lecture and workshop series at Twin Valley Middle School. Along with aiding the students in the folding of  more than one thousand paper peace cranes, we also discussed the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and the affect it had (and continues to have) on people throughout Japan.
